When this song was on the radio as I was driving, I thought of my boyfriend who recently passed. Was thinking of the eagle he had on his profile pic on his FB page. And how it said "when I fall, I rise". He had struggles much of his adult life with addiction. As I had the thought, I looked up, and across the whole sky was an eagle with his wings spread, the head and beak and everything Shaped from the clouds. Looked just like the picture. I def took it as a communication from him. Be open and pay attention. Our loved ones try to contact us from the other side , we just need to be aware.

I first heard this song at age 16. Given I was two years from adulthood at the time I somewhat saw it as a metaphor for my coming of age. It was only later that I found out the music video itself was like a short coming of age film.
